The Persecution of Dahesh and His Followers

When the believers in his Mission became many—including family members of Bechara El-Khoury, the Lebanese President at that time and the reincarnation of Herod Antipas in the 20th century—the Catholic Church headed by the Jesuits felt endangered and conspired with Bechara El-Khoury, the tyrant, to persecute the Messenger of Heavens. They defamed him in churches, schools, and in the press through bribes. He was then arrested by the government, tortured, jailed without due process of the law, denaturalized in violation of the Lebanese Constitution, and then expelled to the Turkish territories during World War II and subjected to harm’s way. However, the Son of Heaven managed to return through the power of the Holy Spirit and defeated his enemies without violence.
